Get work – ICT-scout Service
You will have a free account for ICT-scout – our pioneering new job-alert service. Members can also work together to win larger contracts. Emails through ICT-scout will keep you posted with work required and you can publish your own opportunities too.
Newsletter
Each fortnight, we will keep you in touch with the latest developments relevant to members including local and national ICT related news, funding, training opportunities and events as well as what's happening at DPN. You can also contribute to the newsletter with the latest news from your business. Further details are also posted on the website.
Develop your knowledge and skills Training at DPN
Digital Peninsula Network (DPN) is working in partnership with training providers throughout Cornwall to offer ICT and Digital Media businesses, based in Cornwall, access to the best training available. Whatever the nature of the training you require DPN will work with your business to identify and source the best training to suit your needs.
Feature in the member directory
We produce a high quality directory of member services once a year, which is
sent to over 3000 businesses across Cornwall and the South West. Annual members
will receive a discounted rate for their listing
Develop your knowledge and skills
We arrange seminars and bespoke training for members, with professional tutors
and members sharing knowledge and skills (training is offered at a subsidised
rate). We also offer free online training that can be accessed at the Centre
What we offer:
1. Free advice – We can offer free advice about your options for skills training.
2. Free training plans – We can arrange for a training needs adviser to visit your business and put together tailored Training Needs Assessments for both individual members of staff and the business as a whole.
3. Financial support - We can offer free or subsidised training for you or your staff on a wide variety courses. If you have any training requirements or a specific course that you would like to attend let us know – we may well be able to offer you funding towards the cost.
As the ICT sector representative organisation for Cornwall, DPN is working with training providers to develop new courses to keep up with the fast changing nature of ICT and digital media. If your company requires training that may not be available through mainstream providers, let us know. We will work with the colleges to enhance the curriculum enabling Cornish businesses to keep up to date with the ever changing nature of technology. If you are looking for training for your staff or yourself, in any subject, DPN can help.
Events
DPN run a regular series of events throughout the year ranging from seminars to workshops as well as a number of networking opportunities. DPN strives to provide attendees with information on a broad range of new cutting edge technologies and enable people to meet high profile guests face to face in order to increase knowledge, skills and to encourage collaborative ventures.
Cornwall Media Focus is the network for digital media practitioners and has now been brought under the umbrella of DPN, bringing with it additional strengths and opportunities to members of both organizations.
The DPN Centre
The DPN Centre is open from 9:15am-5:15pm Monday to Friday and has full disability access PCs, Macs and software relevant to your business are available at the Centre. Members also have access to video-editing suite.

Access to Internet Area, equipped with existing machines, broadband, MS Office and possibly open source software
Scanning and printing capabilities scanning, black and white printing, copying, faxing andTechnical Support.

Video editing and spacious area used for training opportunities.
*All training and meeting spaces, the video-editing suite and equipment hire must be booked (and paid for where necessary) in advance and is subject to availability

Office services
At the Centre we offer high quality printing and photocopying, faxing, laminating, binding, outgoing telephone calls and general office sundries at subsidised prices.
Get technical support
Technical support is available at the centre from 9.30am-5pm. You will also be able to solve many technical problems simply by talking to other members. Support is also available by telephone (technical support is free for the first 30 mins per day, £5 per 15 mins thereafter and outward telephone calls will be charged).
IT Health Check Service
Our technical staff also offer a computer drop-in service. Bring in your home PC and our technical support staff will run a health check for £25. If the problem is minimal, we will attempt to resolve it. If it requires more attention, we will refer it on to a member who may charge for their assistance.

Meeting area available to hire for members and non-members.
